The V51 is installed on
both the inbound and outbound scale PCs in the scale house.
The scales interface
separately to each PC via RS232 serial connections from the indicator to the
PC or can optionally be interfaced to a single PC.
The transaction is
initiated by the user at the inbound scale PC by entering data in the
required fields and saving. Load can be heavy or light depending on if it's
inbound or outbound.
The vehicle proceeds into
the facility to load/unload material.
The vehicle returns to the
outbound scale to weigh out. The pending transaction is brought back up. Net
weight is calculated and the transaction is saved.
The ticket is printed for
the driver. Ticket layouts can include company logos.
The transactions saved at
the scale can be configured so that the data is stored on a local database
or on a remote server.
